Week#13: Row by Row ~ It's done!!!

Wow.  It is done.
I've learned a lot from this experience.
First of all, it's easier following someone else patterns and tutorials,
rather than trying to figure it out myself~

Second ~ this quilt is far from perfect (only God is perfect, right?)

Third ~  I love the QAYG method, but on a smaller scale.  I don't think
I would do it again on such a large scale.

However, I am very please with the result and I've begun making
some pillow shams out of the scraps.

I've decided it is also OKAY to change your mind while in mid-project!

Thanks to everyone who was following, and especially those who left such kind comments.

This weekend, my husband and I are
going to
Mackinac Island to stay at the Grand Hotel
(very ritzy!)
That is what he wanted to do for his 50th birthday.

I will draw a winner from all of the week's comments when I return
and post the winner on Wednesday.
Good Luck~

Very well done I love the way you mixed the trees and house within the rows. It really adds interest. BTW I took a Native American art class in college. I learned many Navajo purposely put a mistake in their rugs because only the Gods are perfect. I don't do it on purpose but it's a great outlook for living with mistakes.
