Row by Row Week #6: Quilting as you go~

Welcome back to my Cabin Row by Row Quilt Along!

I thought I’d take this week to show how I’m putting the rows together and quilting them.

There are several QAYG tutorials on the internet.  I’ve used this one for years:

I used Monica's tutorial to put together the blocks in my POLAROID QUILT.

It’s fun, easy to understand and a great tutorial~

Strips are cut 1.25" and 1.75" (folded)

Stitching together.

Hand stitch the back.

I wasn't really sure how this would work with such a long seam (97") but I think it works fine.  So glad since there really isn't any turning back!

Next week, block #5…half way there, folks!

Have fun~

Hi Laura. I have been quilting a star quilt on the machine row by row also. I have only quilted two quilts on the machine, but it is actually easier than I thought it would be. I really like the way it is looking.
